Cornwall Athletic Development

ABOUT US

Cornwall Athletic Development is a youth strength training programme located in Newquay, Cornwall.

It aims to address the increasing levels of obesity among children in the UK by promoting healthy relationships with health and exercise. Additionally, the program seeks to provide high-quality coaching opportunities to the talented individuals in Cornwall who may lack access due to their geographical location.

By offering small group strength coaching, guidance on leading a healthy lifestyle, inspiring talks from local sports figures, and a safe learning environment, the program equips the next generation with the necessary tools to maintain a lifelong commitment to health and wellness. Furthermore, it endeavours to inspire young athletes in Cornwall, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Given Cornwall’s deep-rooted traditions and sporting achievements, the programme focuses on athletic development to empower young individuals to excel in sports and physical activities. This rationale led to the selection of the name “Cornwall Athletic Development,” accompanied by the tagline “Confidence Athleticism Durability.”

The programme is designed with the specific needs of your child and their development in mind. It allows them to explore and perfect movement patterns which will enhance their ability to compete as well as reducing their risk of injury in a safe manner.
